Beefbar is seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, expertise in preparing high-quality meats, and the ability to maintain consistency and efficiency in a fast-paced, upscale kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to Beefbar's exacting standards Specialize in grilling and preparing various cuts of premium meats Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed Maintain a clean and organized workstation Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food preparation Assist in inventory management and stock rotation Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials Adhere to portion control and plating standards Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a line cook in a fine dining establishment Culinary degree or equivalent professional training Strong knowledge of various meat cuts and cooking techniques Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds Food Handlers License (strongly preferred) Benefits Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including: Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Commuter benefits Employee discounts on dining at Beefbar Opportunities for professional growth and development 401(k) Equal Opportunity Statement Beefbar is an equal opportunity employer.
